New legislation took effect in 2023, Geothermal heating and Cooling qualifies for Renewable Energy Credits or REC’s in the state of Maryland! When you in install a new geothermal system you can earn an average of $4,158 EACH YEAR YOU OPERATE YOUR SYSTEM. That’s right… you earn REC’s worth thousands of dollars every year your system is in operation, which could be 20-25 years!
